Big Bore Kit
Who’s going to be first?
Wiseco has just announced the availability of their new 1300 cc kit for the V-Rod.
It comes with pistons, barrels, and head gaskets. Nothing about compression, bore is 4.025.
It’s not yet on the web site. Saw it in June Hot Rod Bikes.

Yup, that's what we need, more power, 'cause like the V-rod is so weak to begin with, lol
11s in the 1/4 are pretty fast for a nearly stock bike. Good riding Kaz!
sounds good though
wondering what it'll do to the fuel economy.
peeps already complain about the range of the vrod due to the small tank size, wondering how much impact a big bore kit will have.
Keep us all posted Kaz, we luv to hear how much you can draw out of the bike.

I'd like to have more torque, so the BB kit just may be the ticket. 1300cc shouldn't screw up the EFI too much either.

If you look arround on the v-rod spare parts companies (cant remember where I saw this) you can buy a smaller front sprocket and this alone gives you your wanted torque it seems...
Found a thread on this site about the 28 tooth sprocket. The supplier is Chopper Steve at Main street M.C. and it lowers the gearing by 7.8%...

John,
where did you hear that?I'm not running them, but not for free HP!I think it looks better. We did modify the top to work at the track if needed with a Fabbed bracket.I am gonna have a Billet chain guard made then polish it for my chain conversion!
Kaz..............
Man you want all my secrets!Yes I shifted into 5th about 100ft from the line or I would be on the rev limiter in 4th!My rear wheel is shorter than stock so maybe thats a reason besides going 121+ in the 1/4

Kaz,,,,
You’re going to love the air shifter.
I am just completing the Holeshot Power Shifter. (Cable Electric.)
Lightning speed shifts. At first you think it didn’t.
Trying to work out a slight hesitation around 4 grand when I dump the throttle.
I would launch above that RPM so for now it’s not a problem, but this will be solved.
Larry
PS
KETSGO is correct. You did say something about more HP without the belt covers.
