It appears they are now making a slip-on of the competition series which was released in the Race Shop section of their site. It features the same shape as the original, but more length to go with the lines of the bike, and also features the same finish as the stock covers and improved ground clearance over the stocks. Expensive yes, but still cheaper then the original competition series.
