The day was Sunny with a slight chance of showers, 70*. We seen the clouds coming in but was thinking just some overcast or the chance shower My wife, as a new rider, was not impressed. We had to wait almost an hour just for the hail to melt off the road. and things to dry off a little. The roads here are deeply grooved and hold alot of water. Vehicles going the other way always seem to run the grooves when passing you.
That's true. Maybe somebody will make a windshield for us bigger guys. Sounds like your weather is about as predictable as our Kansas weather.

you have got to be kidding me. theres no need for a 6 speed. i have a vrod. and if you need a 6 speed. just drop your pully to a higher tooth. hell mine has a 26 tooth. i had to lower the gearing it was such a dog. my 107 spanks it like a lil school girl..

If they put a 6 speed it still has the same bottom gear and top it just brakes them up in to 6 not 5 in 5 th lets say it's 1 to 1
with a 6 speed in 6 th it will be 1 to 1
Ps I got one to

you dont need it. theres no reason to have a 6 speed in a vrod. i have spun my vrod past 130 and still has plenty of rpm... like i said. take your 28t pully and drop it to a 30. it makes the biggest diffrence in the world. you still have the low gear and a super high gear. putting a 6 speed in a vrod is like giving nitrous to a bugatti. theres no need.when im crusin on the night rod special i have LOTS of rpm when im cruising at 80-90 and i have a 26t pully. geez. its a race bike. not a cruiser..
