dash lights and turn signals dont work

I picked up a 2004 vrod and the instrument lights and turn signals do work, if i set the alarm the turn signals flash but dont work from the switch. The battery was dead when i got it and i put a new one in. any ideas? and i did check the fuses.

Do your running lights work? Does your brake light work?

If your running lights work, and your brake light does not, then you are getting no power to the accessory circuit. The place to check is the ignition switch. It may need to be cleaned and fresh dielectric grease put in. It's really not a COMMON issue, but it does occur.

There is a realtively easy way to bypass the switch to check, and you can PM me if you want to know that tidbit of info.
