oversized fuel tank

good afternoon all
The other day I swear I saw an ad for a bigger fuel tank for the v-rods on this site but can't find it now. I thought I sent the link to a friend that has a v-rod because we had gone on a run down south of our homes and his wife fueled up 3 times to our 1 on the run , so like i said i can't find it now if anyone can help me out it would be great thanks

i'm running the rick's tank (the german one that costs a bit more).

both tanks hold about the same ammount of fuel, however, the tank from Rick's will install much easier and has less fitment issues (such as tank to belt clearance, and seat to tank clearance).

either one will work at getting the v-rod the range is desperately needed.

oversized tank

I went with the Rick's tank too. Being a do-it-yourself type guy I thought this was the way to go as the install in straight forward. I think you can't put a price on running out of fuel. It seeded everytime I wanted to ride I had to visit the gas station first. What kind of mileage can I get out of the Rick's Tank?
Started the removale today. Only invested about 90 minutes so far. I think it will take another 90 minutes to finish up.

Sounds about right on your install time. I run to 150 miles and start looking for a gas station on highway riding. I have run it to 168 miles and still had a bit left in it.
