black turn signals

Just a quick question for all you VROD owners. I have a 06 Night Train and want to get the same black turn signals you have on your VROD's. I checked on the HD website with no luck for a part#. Anyone have a part # for front and rear black turn signals? Any info would be great.
Thanks alot!

I know the rears are different than a Softail if you were gonna use them in the stock position. For those you should check out the new Nightster, they have black front and rear and look the same as ours do except they're a satin black. I'm going to the dealer this weekend to check on them.

SoCal-are you looking for black lenses or to paint the chome parts black? When I had my NT I took the stockers off and sandblasted them, primered them and then had them painted GM black to match the rear fender. That lasted for about a month before I put small LED strips inside the fender on either side of the plate.

cheapest route is going to be powder coat your chromies.

H-D gets a killing for their signals... though the 1200N signals would be the way to go if you were looking to take one for the team. The V-Rod rear signals will not fit on a softail, they're plastic and have the "stalk" molded into them too. The VRSCSE had metal rear signals, but they were chrome.

I have a bunch of scuffed up signal bodies with no guts if you need a set to powder coat... free, just pay shipping.

The nightster turnsignals are different as well. They have like a diamond cut lens and inside reflectors...Really nice. BUTTT.....tried 3 local dealers and no one had a parts catalog yet for them......

You won't find them in the aftermarket catalog. The stock part number for the front turn signal housing in black are:

68804-06

The rears are black plastic on the V-Rod, the turn signal is available in a kit only: 68984-01

Per my manual, the kit contains one housing, one socket assebly, reflector, bulb, and lens. Therefore, you'd need 2 of them.

Hope this helps.
