Woo Hoo, got a quiet one

Just picked up my 07 Ultra from the dealer and took it for a quick ride, no 5th gear clatter like the Dealer Demo had/has ,some slight whine in 5th that will never be heard once the D&D Fatcats are purring, Man this thing is a dog stock, my05 Ultra 88 inch with S&S 510 g's would run circles around it. Got all winter to fix that, will be doing BB heads and cams soon. I feel bad for you guys with the 5th gear clatter, I know how bad it is, obviously not all bikes have it either.

BV:

Congrats on the new ride!

IMO, the fifth gear whine seems to be quieter now that I have a few miles on. Clatter not an issue either, especially with the timing backed off via the 0903 Campaign.........

My biggest issue is the heat from the rear cylinder/pipes. The SERT will fix that once winter's gone...........

Enjoy that fine ride, and keep the shiney side up!

Is it that all bikes do not have it, or some people are just pickey then others. I tend to think some people just whine. But I have not heard one. Some people are just picky.

Congrats on the ride and enjoy.
