Another post on a 103 BB

I've been on the engine mods section and now I would like to get some responses strictly from bagger owners. I am thinking about going to a 103 this winter and wanted to hear from mainly 07 owners who have had this done. Was it worth it and do you see a great deal of difference?

I'll let you know in about a week! My parts are on the shelf, just waiting on me to drop off the bike. I'm going 103 BB, Flat top pistons, SE255 cams. Already have the FULLSAC True Dual conversion, Wild Pigs, and SERT installed. I'll tweek a map between now and Monday for the NEW SET UP.
I'm looking forward to see what it does.
I'm actually happy with the way the 96 incher runs, but like Tim Taylor used to say on TV, MORE POWER!!!!!
Plus it agitates the hell out of the wife, so why not !HEHE!!!

How did you like the fullsac true dual conversion? Did you notice power difference? And did you stick with the O2 sensors?
I have my stage 2 ordered and have been looking at the Fullsac dual conversion w/O2 sensors.
Thanks

The FS conversion works great. I didn't notice any low end change, but I feel a nice increase above 3000 RPM. I'll have the conversions on the website sometime in the next day or so.
The RG goes to the shop this week for the 103 BB kit and 255 cams!

Dale,

Let us know when it's done and what you think. My 99 RKC sits at 96,300 and my dealer is offering the 103 stroker motor conversion for $4500 parts and labor. I originally thought that at 100,000 I'd freshen up the top end with the 95 kit, new jugs, heads and pistons but for the price diff I'm wondering if I'm better off just going all in with the new crank etc.

I've got a built 05' 103 Road King

The 103 build I did for my bagger is really great; pulls hills fully loaded like you can't believe and is up around 130 hp and torque but it runs a lot more heat out the exhaust and created an oil blow-by problem I have not been able to correct and I've tried everything. If I had to do it again I would probably not go with the long stroke but rather go up in bore diameter, increased compression, big throttle body, clutch and do some good porting, oversized valves and other stuff.

Had the 103 BB installed on my 07 road glide when in came in. Didn't go with the cams. Had the 1000 mile service done today and had it dynoed and tuned. Went with a SERT tuner. Kept stock exhaust. Max torque 86.4 at 3700 rpm. Max hp 73.1 at 5200 rpm. Running over 80lbs of torque from 2000 rpm to 4500 rpm. Pulls good in 6th. No need to down shift to pass. Getting about 43 mgp at 75. Kick her down into fifth at 70 open the trottle and she really goes. Hope this helps

A 103 with stock cams and exhaust...I don't get that ? Would have been better off doing a decent stage one on the 96!
