blue book for road king

Ia there a web site for blue book values of used bikes? I'm looking at an 03 SE Road King. They want $22k. It has less than 1k miles on it.

Maybe it's just me but 22k for a 4 year old Road King sounds kinda high.

The dealers in Colorado use the NADA book. www.nadaguides.com, give it a try.

If the SE RK is the same as the 100th Anniversary edition Classic (mine was gray & black) I just paid <$16,000 for one with 1100 miles on it. (I also got a lot of gear, covers, Condor rack, etc. thrown in)

There is an identical one on the Youngstown HD showroom floor, 27,000 miles for $16,999.

If its the police of fire SE, there were some on ebay recently. You might check to see if they sold and for how much but I think they are about the same as the classic's in value.

Don't fall for the "Blue Book" value trick. The blue book shows the value that a dealer would buy your vehicle for, not what the retail value is for selling it yourself.

good luck.

Actually the Blue Book shows both.

The Screamin Eagle RK comes with the 95ci motor and lots of goodies from the factory. These bikes tend to hold there value very well.

the 2003 100 anniversary Road King has the 103" motor along with ALL the chrome, cables, & goodies you could (and some do...) put on spending truckloads of cash. All in all the SE bikes are a good deal, especially when a few years old and w/ low mileage. I personally want a 2001 SE Road Glide (Which had the 95") as my next bike....Look on E-Bay and check on completed auctions and see what they bring. To me it sounds like a good deal.

I didn't realize he meant Screaming Eagle, I thought it he meant a Special Edition. You're right about the screaming eagles keeping their values higher. Thanks!
