The kit is only $45 from HD.

You need to remove the trans cover which may or may not involve removing the exhaust. (I made some allen wrenches to I didn't have to)

You will need to remove the primary cover to replace the clutch spring, it won't come out through the derby hole - very simple procedure, but the damn gasket is $27.

Also, buy a GOOD PAIR of large 45 degree angle snap ring pliers or you'll have a hell of a time getting the ramps out of the trans cover. And don't lose the ball bearings.

Overall its easy. Worth every cent.

I was told that you shouldn't do it if you have done any engine mods, ie Big Bore kit. I wanted it too but the Stealer told me I shouldn't do it. DO any of you guys have it with the big bore kit??

Yep. Have one in my 95" Road King. Works fine.

What you heard is partially correct. If you plan to do any engine mods at all, you definitely DO NOT want the lighter diaphragm spring(any decent running 95" motor with make the clutch slip with that light spring). You can still install the new ramps which will work fine however.

hehe Budking was fine untill he felt how easy the EASY pull really was... now hes hooked...

We did his bars this weekend and when I pulled to test the clutch I was like something is messed up... this is to tuff... so he tried and said it was normal... Then I had him test mine... The look on Bud's face was pretty funny...

anyhow... I dont remember if the the dealer installed mine or it was factory on 06's but i have 95" BB making 95/98 and no problems with it...

06 bikes come stock with that setup. The first thing you should do after installing a 95" kit is remove the spring unless you install a VPC(highly recommended).

You may not think that stock setup is slipping, but I guaranty you it is.

Okay Dan...you don't have to rub it in! It's pretty funny it's stock on the 06 and on the 04 they give you a hand exercise manual! LOL Laugh now Dan but wait until we spend another whole saturday figuring out how to put it in! LOL

FYI, I've got the chrome voltage regulator cover and chrome spark plug cover kit coming today!!!
