Anyone have the HD long angled highway pegs???
Part number 50910-03A. If so could you post or send me a pic from the saddle?? I'm trying to see where exactly they extend out to. The pic on the HD site doesn't really show it that well. I already have someone sending me a pic of the short angled ones so I have no need for pics of those. I'm in dyre need of somewhere to stretch my right leg out due to severe cramping in my hip during long rides. And unfortunantly like I have stated in another highway peg post I am short legged (5' 9" - 30" inseam) so the options are limited.
Thanks

Can't help you with a picture, but I used to be 5'9" until the doctor told me I've shrunk to 5' 7". I have around a 29" inseam and I use the short angled mounts on my Ultra with a Mustang touring steat with no problems. The seat actualy raised me up about 3/4 - 1" over my stock seat.

Long Angle pegs
Hello,
I have a set on order now. The dealer said since I have the lowers on the bike the Long Angles will work best. I anticipate the pegs should be just about even with the back of the lowers.....I will find out soon.....good luck

bedemonster: Thanks. That helps a little but what I could really use is a shot from the seat looking down. It is a litle hard to tell from the side. The top and bottom pics look like they are in two different positions.

They are in the same position in all the photos. I will try and snap one from the seat tonight.

I've had them on T-Bagger since '04. I sit my heel on the floorboard and my toes on the highway pegs. I mounted them close to the floorboards.......
Wail untill you go to install them.......Put my bike on JP'slaststand to hold it upright and then measured from the floor up.......I clamped them into place using wooden funiture clamps (I used to be a carpenter). Then I had to pull the two ends together with another clamp to make certain I wasn't cross-threading the bracket. Made me start breaking beads.......Finished clamping them tight with a 16" breaker bar......My buddy went thru the same thang......ONe more thang, the bolts that hold these high quality chrome peices of sh*t together are already rusting.......and I live in Michigan and the bike is garaged. I'm pretty sure the package said, 'Made in China' on it...........

I've got the H-D 360 mounts and had to replace the clamping bolts and internal tooth lockwasher pretty quickly w/ stainless as well due to rust. Pretty sure the lockwasher was plain old mild carbon steel.
Devil's in the details...
