HK... seems way high to me. I just bought an 06 in Black Pearl with security from a dealer in PA for $15700 that's brand new on the floor. They waived all setup and freight fees etc. That's OTD plus my taxes etc. I think they've still got more and you could have it shipped and still be way under that number. Last I heard they had a black bone stock with no security for $15.

HK even with only 450 miles it is still useed. I picked up an 06 with extras including exhaust,stage1,pcIII and other goodies with 4000 miles for less than 15,000. It also has a little over a year left on the warranty. Shop around unless you just really want it...

Thanks for the others on their pricing. This was a "phone quote" price and i know it will be different when i enter the shop checkbook in hand

whats the name/number of the shop. I mean that is something to look into if it meets cali emissions- california legal. Though I still have to run 7500 miles on it before i can register it in cali since i bought it out of state.

I orded the clearveiw W/S, be here in 3 weeks I hope. 1" lower. I need to sit a little more upright to make this work to see over it, I like the stock seat and want to keep it, was thinking a rider backrest, but the fixed ones I have tried have pushed me to far up on the tank, Are the adjustibles that much better and will it allow me to sit all the way back in the saddle? Also I have read here that the fixed back rest can be shimmed or bent or both if needed. will this give me the same 30* swing back as the adjustible? I do not want to spend the 300 for the adjustible if the same can be done with the fixed one. Once set to my comfort it will not be moved with either of the rider rests. Thanks Doc

I have the 103 in my '06 RG and really am happy with the motor. I ordered the bike and a crate motor at the same time and had the dealer instal the 103. It cost me 4k and they kept the 88" motor. You guys with '07 bikes are lucky. You get to go to 103 by just doing a big bore kit since you are starting with a stroked 96" motor. If you go the stock HD big bore kit you will end up with the same motor that I have been running in my bike since Sept. 2005 and I am really pleased with it. It has good power and makes the power where you need it on a heavy bagger, down low in the rpm range. If it were me I would ride that bike for a while with the 96 you might just be able to be happy with that. The ones I have riden felt like they made decent power and were nothing like the feeling of riding a stock 88" bike which to me felt like it didn't have enough power to get out of it's way.

You better jump like a BIG FROG on that deal. The HD strike is going to affect the RoadGlides more than any other bike, since they build fewer to start with! I think if the strike lasts 2 months or so, the RG's will be hard to get at a decent price, or at all.

yeah i couldnt let that price go. So I am now the proud owner of a 2007 Pewter Roadglide

Of course I wont pick the bike up until Fri the 23rd. I am goin ahead with the 103 kit. Also black out the front forks and get the 6 inch black wind deflector.

Havent decided on the exhaust yet.

Im not a fan of XM radio. I have Sirius in my car and in my girls car. I guess that the only way currently to get Sirius on the bike is completely switch the head unit out?

its goin to be a LONG 8 days until I can pick up my new toy.

hksigman, congrats on the new bike. From your sig you have quite a collection of late model HD's. You keepin all of them? How much you want to bet that you put more miles on this RG this year than on the other bikes combined?

Looks like you are a lucky man. Post up some pics of the ride when you get it done.
