Retirement Bike
Planning to retire from the workforce next spring. So I decided to treat myself to a new RG. I'm trading my 09 SG in on it. It's gonna be the FLTRX. I already have a quick disconnect tour pack that I had for the SG. Lots of travel plans in the future. Reading this thread helped me on picking the RG. With a little personal tweaking, I feel it will do me just fine. Delivery should happen within a couple of weeks. Road Glide fever has me.

Problem solved.

I ended up with 2009 CVO Road Glide bars they are the same height as the stock bars but with more pullback and are chrome but they only take internal wiring which looks nice when your done but a pain to do. All the cables and wiring are long enough.
I attached a couple of pics comparing the bars and the bike with them installed.

Picked up my new RG last Sat. I've been putting goodies on changing some things when I'm not riding. Nothing like a new bike to empty your wallet. I really like the bike but more tweaks are a comin.

Just bought my last bike. I am sure I'll pick up a few more projects but this beauty is my last daily rider / Long distance runner.
Thanks all for the information that lead me to this little animal, thanks to the great staff at Barrie Harley Davidson. Most of all thanks to the beautiful girl in the picture, without her tolerance for my chosen lifestyle, and sharing my love for her with my love of bikes, none of this would happen.

Smitty, did you ever decide on a windshield? I tired that demo that you had in the picture and was not happy.

The longer winter lasts, the more changes I'll make.
