Angry bars

i have a 04 rk custom and these stock beach bars a killing me. what bars would be the best to replace these things with? i need them to be narrow and to come back closer to me. my wrist and shoulders are what gives me the most pain.

Try the stock Heritage Softail bars. It will bring your grip up and back a bit and will turn your hands to a more comfortable position. You shouldn't have to change out the existing lines and cables.

I agree!

The BEST handlebars for a Road King are stock heritage bars. I just wish someone made the IDENTICAL bars in a 1 1/4".

Best Bars ...

I just got the Chubbies Wild 1's in the 508 style and they are not only comfortable, but they look killer on the bike since they are the 1 1/4" bars. You do have to at least modify the brake lines to install these bars on a RK

I put the stock Road Glide bars on the '02 RK. Much better that the Beach Bars. They were available over the counter at HD as a kit. This must be a common gripe.
