Smile What Next

I have the Screaming Eagle slipons and just bought the Stage 1 air Cleaner. What do I do next after I install the Air Cleaner? I thought I just would go to the Dealer and have the re-flash done. But I have been reading that popping and lean condition will not be corrected by this.
Is a DFO in order or what else? I am not planning any other modifications for at least another year except for some Chrome.
thanks

My suggestion..

I would get a PCIII usb and not do the reflash. With the PCIII you can get a map to richen it up and also tune out the decel popping you will have. Good luck!

I have a TFI which is the same as a DFO. It cured my leaned out problem. Unless your going to go to a bigger cam later on I'd go with the DFO first, it's alot cheaper and it's simple to use and adjust.

Since you've elected to use HD parts (SE slip-ons and SE air cleaner), the stage I flash will go a long way. Your choices (besides those already listed) include the race fueler and the race tuner. If stage I is all the further you want to go, then the race fueler would be a good choice. If stage II (or beyond) is in your future, then I'd recommend the race tuner.

I agree with Mo-Dog, I did the reflash and it ran like crap put the PCIII usb on and it runs great now. No popping on decel definitly more throttle response.
