Do they still make them? Why would you not want plastic? That's what comes on the bikes now and it's sturdy material.

Yeah, though a lot of the fiberglass parts I've seen tend to put stress cracks in the paint over time. The fiberglass bags on my Honda started doing that, so I painted over it. A friend of mine got fiberglass fairings for his sport bike and it did this.

Fiberglass components tend to be a bit more expensive too. I think the technology is where it needs to be that ABS is more than sufficient. Just my thoughts. I hope the OP finds what he's looking for.

OEM H-D parts were fiberglass reinforced composite before that went to the new type of plastic parts. If you find an aftermarket fiberglass TP it will not likely match the quality of the OEM one. I think the saddlebags and tourpaks were fiberglass in the early 2000s. Easy enough to spot...light grey interior vs black.

Aren't a lot of the bags and tourpaks coming through with Reinforced fiberglass plastic?
Is it RFP or FRP can't remember?
