New Passing Lamp Brackets p/n 69227-04?
Does anyone have any pics of these installed on their Road King yet?
New Passing Lamp Brackets
The pics look pretty good on the website. If I'm reading this right, need the kit, lamps and trim rings.
Can anyone elaborate?

I installed them on my RK Custom. Gives the front end a nice clean look. You are right the kit is the bracket only. I also installed the mounting kit for the detachable windshield at the same time.

They do look pretty nice but sheit balls, $279 and that is just for the damn bracket. Still needs to buy passing lamps and signals.
How much did the whole deal cost in the end?
Thanks,

Seems to be some misunderstanding, it cost 279 plus 62 and you get everything you need, unless you change the lamps to Halogen. I have a 20% off deal so that makes it 273 for everything.
I also changed the rear, cost was 104.

anyone with a FLHRS know if the stock turn signals will mount up on the new light kit or will new signals need to be purchased too?

The kit has everything you need (main brackets, housings, bolts, thingy between the main bracket and signal housings) except trim rings and bulbs. You can reuse your signals or leave them up on the bars like I did. My signal wires were already run inside the bars and I actually like them up there.
I filled the bolt hole in the main bracket that would be used to attach the signals with a simple chrome bolt and nut.

Hey Guys,
Yesterday, I went to the local stealer to get part numbers for this set up. The parts girl told me I would need new signals, because the "thingy between the main bracket and the signal housings" was molded into the actual turn signal housing, supposedly making the lights different from the stock ones on the Custom...
Logical, was she wrong on that?
I hope so, the total estimate for parts turned out to be over $500 for all the stuff she said I needed, including $62 for new signals...
At least I know I'll be getting 20% off, but if I can eliminate the signals from that list, it would make the price that much cheaper...
I'll join in on the request to see pics of your set up, logical...

You can use your stock turn signals with the kit except you will need to get a fine thread bolt to hold them to the bracket. The new signal kit that it says is required uses a coarse thread bolt that is supplied in the kit. I did this on my custom and it looks great!!!!!!!

Parts List for FLHRS(I)

Alright, as I understand it, this is what I need:
- 69227-04 Custom Passing Lamp Bracket Kit
- 68725-62A Lamp Bezels (Two of these)
- 69294-05 Auxiliary Lamps
- 69235-04 Hardware Kit (for RKs with Detachable Windshield Kits already installed)
How does that list look to you all? Am I missing anything else for this little passing lamp project?
With the optional Extended Trim Rings (p/n 69622-99B), my total cost from Chicago HD, including shipping, should be $335.79.
Not too bad, I guess... Definitely better than what the local stealer quoted me...
