air cleaner

I have a 03 FI dresser and am thinking about replacing the air cleaner. I knew that for the last sic months I was going to get the AN big sucker but I have been reading about problems with their fit and quaility. I would be very interested in hearing what you folks have and why you like them.

Thanks

I went with SE. Mainly because the dealer here gives a discount and has evrything in stock. I amy take six months to decide to buy something but when I do its impulse and I want it now. Plus with 15% it comes out about the same as ordering. No complaints. I do want to get a differant cover. I hate the writing they put in the ring.

I went with the AN Big SUcker because it uses hard lines to connect up, not the rubber like the SE. Was amazed at the difference it made and have had no problems.

Hello i put the AN BS on my bike , prior to installing it i filed down the nubs on the flange that meet to the face of the carb. then blew it off with air hose the gasket mated proper and all is good. follow instructions and file the little casting points off they are lsightly less that an eraser head size

Experienced the same casting flaws as Cster888. I used a dremel to grind them flush with the rest of the A/N plate.
Used a H-D gasket instead of the "Ness" than adequate gasket supplied with the kit. Had to trim it a bit, no big deal.

Other than that (which is really a lot considering how simple the unit is and how much AN charges for it), no problems
