Headsets and mics ... Ultra

Hi all.

I have two AirRider dynamic mic headsets that I used on my Goldwing (1500). I am told that a dynamic mic will not work on the '99 Ultra system, that one has to have an electec mic. Also I think the pinout would have to be changed.

AirRider does have a cord available that converts the mic to electec and changes the pinout ... I may just buy a couple of these ... but I can't see why a guy can't change it himself ... but then I am no electrical engineer ...

Has anyone successfully converted a setup like this to work on an Ultra? If so how?

Other alternatives?

I don't know about the conversion but I do have a set of headphones that are new for your bike that I will sell reasonably cheap. My wife bought them while I was out to sea on E-bay but they will not work with my bikes intercom. The Moco changed them in 2000
