Question Hawg Halters

I am going to put front billet brake calipers this winter and have not made a choice on a product yet. I looked in American Rider mag and found Hawg Halter. Has anyone put these on there king? If so do they work better than stock Harly calipers? Mine make a grinding nose from time to time. My bike is an 03 RK with 2800 mi. Does anyone know of any company that makes billet calipers that use OEM mounting.

If your calipers are grinding, you've got a big problem!

Search this forum for 'lyndall'.

SYCLONE is on a distinguished road
Are you sure your brake noise is not from the pads. H-D uses a very hard sintered pad. I can stand in the parking lot at the dealer and tell who has stock pads as they ride in from the "hiss/scrape" noise they make when NOT applied. Put EBC kevlars on my RC to get rid of the noise. Calipers cant grind unless there are no pads installed.
