It could have the SE 103 build in it very easily.

Stock engine in 2006 was an 88"

That bike came stock with a 4 inch stroke crank, most of the 103 SE setups installed also had the SE heads and will have the badges. More likely he has a 95

Stock 2006 engines (non CVO) were 88 ci. It's possible the engine could have been converted to a 103 after delivery. Difficult to tell what it is without opening up the engine. I wish sellers would make more of an effort to pass on documentation of upgrades.

If it was a 103, I'd assume the previous owner would point that out and show proof.
It would make it easier for a sale.

I agree....
He can say all he wants to say....that bike came stock with an 88" engine. The burden of proof is on him unless u want to believe what he says. I seriously doubt it says 103 on title. To be a 103 it needs a crank and pistons/barrels. Does it like like the complete engine has been out and the cases split? If he says T-Man did work on it make him produce a receipt. Last option is a dyno run, see what it puts out. There is no real way to check w/o taking stuff apart.

Nobody tells the truth about a bike (or car) they are trying to sell.

so correct me if i am wrong,to go from 88 to 103,can that be done by taking the 88 apart split cases ,put 4 3/8 fly wheel ,would you bore the case for cylinders and then 103 is possible?

Re: 2006 roadking

There is no need to bore cases. 88" goes to 103" by boring stock cylinders to 3.875" and replacing 4" stroke flywheels with 4-3/8" stroke wheels. This was available as a Screamin Eagle "kit" for 88" twin cams. So yes, engine comes out, cases are split (but not bored), crank replaced & cylinders bored (or replaced) with new 3.875" pistons fitted.
