PA TEX Classic is on a distinguished road
Thumbs up Harley Ultra Classic newbie
Just registered, bought an 06 Artic White Ultra Classic Loaded
last month. 14.4k miles and loaded. Have had many motorcycles over the years and this is my first Harley. Can cross this one off
the bucket list. I love this bike. It is the most confortable motorcycle I have ever owned. Now I understand why they are so
popular. the wind protection is superior, cruise is great, all that room on the floorboards cant be beat. Did I mention the Radio.
I like the Zeppelin seat it came with, but it sits a bit to tall.
Im 5foot 11. I wish I had done this years ago now. I cannot wait
until our crummy northeast weather breaks so I can get out and
ride again. (lots of ice and snow on the streets)

Welcome to the clan of the Geezer Glide! I'm on my 3rd and I'll ride these things till I can't. I've got the Road Zeppelin too and I can't believe how comfortable it is although I could see how it might jack you up in the air a bit more than to your liking. Maybe playing with the air level might help with that when the crap weather leaves. Either way congrats on the new ride!

Welcome PA TEX, yes these bikes are comfortable especially on long trips. And I understand about the tall seats. I bought a reduced reach seat for my Ultra when I first got it. Which definitely allowed me to bend my knees more. But later went back to the original.

Welcome good to see you here. I have a 02 Ultra I bought new and like it very much. I have put 92K on with the air seat and about 4 K back I put a HD sidecar on it.

Congrats from another FNG ultra classic owner. I can understand the waiting on Ice snow sand and salt.(42 inches in 24 hours last week) Just more time to clean it up and make it yours.....Have fun.

Welcome PA Tex...The PA winter seems to have kicked up with a vengance. I am outside of Harrisburg and have the bug to get the bike out too. I have an 01 Electra Glide Classic. They are alot of fun and I have spent more time in the saddle on this bike than any other. I have a Road King Seat and a Street Glide dash on mine and it give me even more room (I'm 6'3"). Find yourself a used Corbin saddle for the bike. They are built a little lower with firm padding and they will give you a stance you are looking for. The guy I ride with all the time is about the same height as you and he loves the Corbin on it. I get on his bike and I can feel the difference in the length to the controls.
