Good SOLO seat for ElectraGlide
I plan to get a solo seat for my FLHTK and hope to take advantage of all the pre-Christmas sales going on. On an earlier EG I had a Corbin which was okay, not great, but okay. Lot's of comments on this forum about touring and 2 up seats, but I'm looking for a good solo seat. Slim, not extending back over the rear fender, and looks good. Thanks!

I only use Mustang seats
had 4 on different bikes no regrets!!
also use a back rest, was dead against one, until I rode a friends bike with one, never be without one now!!

I love my Police air ride seat. The third seat I put on mine, but the most comfortable.

Police seat is the most comfortable seat Harley makes. Looks like a 1920's tractor seat, but it works.

Is it an HD accessory seat, or Mustang? I searched HD and didn't see it but I saw Mustang offers a Air Police Solo.

Look on ebay for good used one. I got mine about a year ago off ebay for $150 for the whole set up. A lot of guys buy police bikes and put on touring seats, so you can usually find them for sale. About a 2 hr job putting them on, but nothing hard, a straight bolt on.
Also your local dealer might have some laying around if they sell police bikes to local agencies. When the cops trade them back in, the dealer sometimes will put on touring seats before reselling them. At least my local dealer does.

It is the stock seat that comes on the Police model.

Running a Danny Grey on my street glide and to me is the best looking solo on the market. Ride is nice and feels more like sitting down in the bike rather than on top of it. It sits about 1.5-2" lower than the stock seat and is narrower so if your a little on the short side this will help out. I've got about 9k in this seat and couldn't be any happier.
