Any one have a Hayden
Hayden chain tensioner # M6 BT07 for 07 and up Turing models. I have my primary cover off and the chain seems awful tight with the stock tensioner. They say the Hayden will cut down on the primary noise and it will shift and run smoother because it keeps the chain tension the same at all times.
My Indy has sold them with great feedback. What say you.

I agree with all that's been said so far. Noticeably quieter and smoother. And this from a skeptic.

How does it hold up in higher horsepower builds?

I'm running the Hayden BT07 tensioner in my 08 FLHX 117"er. I beat the hell out of it and it has preformed flawlessly.
Now...if someone could just come up with a good compensator...I'd be happy.

I got one and installed it and now my chain is tighter then ever. I should have 3/8" clearance from the bottom of the shoe to the guide plate, mine only has 1/4". I caled Hayden and they said the 1/4" should be ok and the chain feels tight because it's under spring tension.
I cant help but wonder how the tighter chain will wear on the IPB.

i was wondering about the new heavier springs they come with now,i thought that's why people were getting away from the stock tensioner it was to tight, now the hayden is to tight.i have not bought one yet, but one i'm leaning towards the baker.any other feed back from anyone?

A guy on another forum had a Baker tensioner, and the steel part broke in two.
