2-inch tank lift

Just did a 2 in tank lift, hardest part was taking the seat off, will see in the summer if it helps with heat and air flow, definitely going to be easier cleaning the heads

Nice looking ride. I would be honored to test ride it for you all summer long. I will return it fully fueled. How did you do the tank lift?

It is a kit from DK customs, just a nice powder coated bracket and hardware, very easy install

Do you have to lengthen fuel hose?

At first could not figure out what was bothering me with the look, it was the tabs on the front of the tank being exposed so I took the rubber covers and little at a time cut a slot in the middle put them back on and painted the bolt head, much cleaner looking IMHO

Thumbs up

Looks good. Did a tank lift on mine a while back. Two things to think about, one- watch your tank, the bars on mine hit the tank right before they hit the stops but then I'm running some custom apes. Two- fuel gauge is going to be off, mine would show empty and dash light comes on but I still have a little over a gallon still in the tank. That might be a good thing as you start looking for a gas station sooner. Gives the bike a little different look but not sure it helps any with the heat issue or it didn't as much as I was hoping. Easy straight forward install.

Other than lifting the tak so the tops of the cylinders can be see better I really don't see any value in this kit. Simply lifting the tank a lil bit is not going reduce the heat significantly. The only thing that will is, moving air around the cylinders.
