96 FLHT rider backrest question?

Just bought my first Harley, 96 FLHT Standard and it's looking to be a great winter project. I'm looking to add a passenger backrest but I'm a little confused as to what front/rear mounting kits I need to install in order to put a sissybar backrest on it. Most all backrests I see online (Ebay) are quick disconnect and fit 97 and up FLHT. Did they make a backrest,( would prefer it isn't a quick disconnect), that I can buy that will fit this bike with the additional front/rear mounting kits and if they did, could anyone please point me in the direction of the right kits to purchase?

I've been looking for a few weeks now and I don't want to but something that won't fit the bike. It has the side hardbags on it but no other accessories.

What you want is #52805-97B, fits '94-'96 FLHR and FLHT equipped with docking hardware. Get both from your dealer or the equivalent.
The detachable hardware can be locked with a zip-tie.
