handle bar stereo controls

has anydody use something other than the biketronics Control Interface for there after market radio i know its piug and play but 175.00 for the unit the ones for cars dont even cost that much

i got the biketronics kit. it was worth it for me cuse it was plug n play.

I don't think there are any cheaper options. I paid as much for the control cables as what i did for a new head unit. Since there's such a small market for these controls there aren't many options and they can basically charge whatever they want.

Yes you can use a couple of the car units. Ya will need to get the instructions from the manufacture and solder some resisters in line but it has been done. Do a search on the PAC swi?

well i put a sony DSX M60 RADIO and used a pac interface took about 3 hrs totall cost 170 00 way cheaper than biketronics and no issue consindering they sell the same radio for 200.00
