Has anyone had this issue I have the oem headlight on my 04 ultra. Low beam is great. High beam just does not seem bright enough. Is this just the way the oem is or maybe I should get another. Don't need led The old school lights are good enough for me unless I buy another one that is just the same.

I found that my 07 was out of adjustment big time and also put a Silverstar bulb in.
Made a world of difference.

Just a random thought on this, but have you went over the bike and cleaned ALL ground connections? The same is also good for the positive side. One of the first things I did on my '05 was to clean and polish and add a dab of dielectric grease to the plug in connectors.

I agree with Barney Biker, check your alignment. Do a search on the forum, you'll find out how to do it.
I replaced my headlight and passing lamps with Trucklite LED's last year. What a huge difference. I aligned my lights, and am very happy with the results.
