Starting From Scratch Opinions On My Mods
Hello, I just got a 2013 Ultra Limited and would like your opinions/suggestions on the performance mods I have planned.
My goal for the bike bike is 100 ft lbs of torque or a little more. Intake: Zippers Max Flow or Harley Stage 1, tune will be a Power Vision map from Fuelmoto and exhaust I am between the new Fuelmoto 2-1 Pipe, D&D Boss Fat Cat or Suppertrapp Supermeg.
Thanks!!! Any info or suggestions are greatly appreciated.

Sounds like you have a good plan. Any of those pipes, with a good tune should get you close to your goal. I'm running the D&D pipe on my Street Glide. It's a great pipe with a nice deep tone.

Thanks, I think that # is realistic with the right setup. Are you running the performance baffle? I have read you will loose power with the quiet.

That should be easy with a low lift cam,Se 204 or a Crane 1-6000.

Mods are a personalthing but you ask.Fuel moto headers and super traps.
You may want to look at the HD night sticks come in black or chrone and may save you a few bucks ompare them to the super traps

Thanks, I'll check them out. I saw some dyno #s for a similar setup with the supertrapps and the bike was making around 103 ft lbs. The torque was over 90 at 2500 rpm.

No, i have the wrapped baffle. Unless you like LOUD, don't order the performance baffle.

If you get an air cleaner that does NOT feed the hot dirty oily air from the engine back into the combustion chamber, that will give you a 3-5% bump in HP & Torque. Plus you won't have carbon build up on your pistons.

Would this be like the zippers air filter setup? I know some have the hoses that direct the oil back into the intake I believe the zippers does not do this.

I believe all the zippers a/c are directing the dirty hot oily air back into the intake. They are doing it internally via passages in the housing.
There are very few companies still making true Stage 1 Air Cleaners that ONLY allow clean air into the intake.
All the OUTLAW HiFlow 587's do so.
They come with one of two external breather systems-
Or the traditional hose and filter

How does it flow compared to other filter setups? I did a search and not much info or user reviews of the setup.
