89 flt fuel tank

modified a 89 fl tank. cut it into 3 pieces front to back welded in 1"on bothsides of tunel had in mind to use kuryayckyn flush mont gas gauge and cap.Bought a used sending unit and discovered that it will not fit the cup on left side of tank.I'm hoping some one will have one laying around and can mike it for me.dealers no use manual also no good other choice is weld over hole and go gaugeless.
