That's incredible. She looks good man! I hope to do some of those things for my old battleax in a few years. I am saving up!
I've got an '04 Ultra and she runs so good still that I am hesitant to go big at this time.
But, I appreciate the ideas! I hope it's all you wanted..

It feels like a new and totally different bike. The power is awesome from 2000 RPMs up. The handling and ride is 100 x better than stock.

The bottom end on that bike of yours has the tapered timken crank bearings...very solid. Good choice on the rebuild .

Ha! I have only seen a couple like mine and didn't realize that paint was still available in 07.

Thanks. BTW I bought her 4 years ago with 10,000 miles on it, so I am averaging 7k/year which isn't bad for living on the Rock. Hell, I don't put 4K/year on both my cars combined. I just finished 1000 miles in the 2 weeks since the engine work was done. Today was my first 2up ride since all the updates. My wife's 98 lbs didn't slow the ole girl down a bit and the suspension was great. Acceleration from 70 2up and uphill on H3 used to be sluggish but not anymore.
Also, a loop up the Windward coast to the North Shore and on around the Island is a bit over 100 miles. I ride bout 7K a year or 70 trips round the Island. The good thing is that most of those miles are along a breathtaking beautiful coastline and I can stop at any beach along the way. You also have to remember that the miles we ride here probably are at an average 40 - 45 mph so it takes longer to put on the miles. I do enjoy my annual trip to Oregon where I can steal my bro's Road King Police bike.

Reason: Add pix of North Shore cruise.
