My mistake on 3.. I missed the # 2 key.. My comp sprokets lasted about 20,000 miles each. First was stock reg comp. 2nd was the SE one that harley uses now.. On my first change not much difference in noise. The second was night and day difference. By about only 50 miles down from brand new I could hear the ticking noise starting again.. Harley needs to fix this... I'm back to 88 cu. in., Much quieter....

And "YES" it is covered under warranty

I have a 2010 Limited and have put 23K miles on it. I asked aobut the same noise and the dealer told me that you get more engine noise with the synthetic oil since it lets the parts move more freely. One of the other chapter members has 50K + on his 2010 Limited and has had no problems. Noise is the same. I keep a service contract anyhow.
