Does the triple fairing pouch work with the Klockwerks shields? Anyone know? I'm thinking of getting a 6.5" and still want bags on the fairing like I have now behind the stock shield.

Klock Werks windshield
I have a KW 8.5 on my 2012 Ultra CVO. I'm short, 5' 6" and I just see over the top of the shield. I got a lot of buffeting the other day while riding into a moderate head wind. The buffeting was bad enough to blur my vision if I was trying to read the overhead highway signs. I do have a visor on my helmet and no doubt that contributed to the buffeting. Hope my experience helps you.

I have the 8.5" on my 08. Works really well for me I am about 5'9". The buffeting is very minimal, Heck I can even wear a baseball cap FORWARD while riding. I do look through the top part of the windshield (about the only part your view isn't distorted, but it doesn't bother me much. You oughta try and catch up with Klock Werks at a Rally they offer free demo rides so you can try them out and find out what size and tint level works for you.

I have the 8.5 on my 2009 Classic... I am not pleased or impressed with it. I find it a little flimzy and it does vibrate alot. It would benefit being thicker and more rigid...
Next season I am trying something else, probably a LRS...

I have the 6.5 smoked with adjustable deflectors on my 10 SG. At 5'10" love it. I also run a Airlite bra on the engine bars on cold days. This combination works great for me.

I have the 8.5 smoked shield and it works great. The 6.5 was just too low for my taste. Thumbs up here ..!

Nubwagon - I have the triple pouches on my Elactra Glide Classic and they fit just fine. No problem at all. It was probably designed with that in mind in my opinion.

Thank you sir. I figured it would fit behind the shield...just wanted confirmation before pulling the trigger though.
Much appreciated!

Just to clarify about the fairing bags & the KW windshields...
The 8" shield will accommodate the fairing bags. The 6.5" shield will not. This was straight off the KW website.
Kinda narrows down my choices. I'm 5'9"...do you think the 8" shield will be ok for me?

I would be concerned that the 8.5 is going to be too high for you. I would really try to find a dealer that demos them. I have a 6.5 and always thought I should have got the 8.5, a fellow rider let me borrow his 8.5, it was too high for me. I got huge distortion and had a heck of time riding for just 10 miles. I am actually now thinking I am going to try their 4 inch shield.
Another thing I did that may or may not help you is I got glasses that have a strap and the foam, helps with the glasses. If you are having problems with glasses. That was my biggest issue went I got my X.

Just wanted to pop an update in here:
I was at the Galveston Bike Rally this past weekend and found an 8 1/2" light tinted KW shield at a killer price. So I got it & installed it.
Not only does my existing fairing pouch work perfectly with it, but it's also the perfect height for me. I'm 5' 9" and I can see clearly over it as the top of the shield comes up to about the bottom of my nose. It helps with the wind in the face tremendously and there is very little buffeting. I have noticed a bit of an increase in vibration in the shield & the pouch, but this is very minor IMO.
Overall, I'm very happy with the windshield so far. Can't wait to get more miles with it.

I have the 6.5 Klockwerks and the triple fairing pouch and no, they don't fit on the 6.5 inch. I just trimmed the outter 2 pouches off and run it with the middle pouch on, that works just fine for me.
