Engine noise on start up

Yup! I have a 12 also. Made that same noise since day 1 ! Still does it. It is lifter bleed down. No big deal, just annoying. Wish I would've kept my 09.

This is what has kept me from buying a newer bike. For now I am sticking with my 02 FLHRCI.

I came from a 93 softail stock 80" drag pipes and s&s super e. On startup my 2013 makes alot of noise like loud valve tap or lifters. Have 950 miles on it now and its gotten better doesn't happen. on every startup. Took it to dealer at around 450 miles and they couldn't get it to make noise.
