Need Road King Paint help

Can anyone tell me what years of Road King Classic (classic only) that they had a two tone paint scheme choice of Black and White. Much like you see on Softail Deluxe's. I'm a Street Glide guy but the wife is ready to move up from her XL1200 and the only thing she'll consider is that two tone black and white paint scheme.

Has to be 06 and later with fuel injection.

I don't remember ever seeing a Classic like the one you describe, it doesn't mean that Mother Harley didn't make it, I just haven't seen it. It does sound very much like a Police Bike and I have seen those, in that paint scheme. Do you think she could have seen a Police Bike with leather bags?

in 07 the FLSTN had a white gold pearl / vivid Black paint scheme in 09 the FLSTN used the same white gold pearl / with a Pearl Black upper white/ lower black I did a electra glide with the pearl paint only Black on top of the White The gold in the Gold White Pearl is the base color over the primer the the white is applied over the Gold

You wont find a glide the the white / black scheme unless you paint it yourself and I wouldnt buy a Softail but thats me....07 bikes had the 96 cu in and the 6 spd good luck

Yup what Tim said! If you buy one that already has one of the colors you want, it is easy enough to add the other color and not break the bank. Though it will take 2 stages of clearcoat to bury the edge of white over black...

In 2008 there was a White Gold Pearl and Black Pearl paint combo available. Hope this is what you are looking for.

Bingo! This is it exactly. But now the question would be....is this a stock OEM paint scheme offered by HD or did someone do it themselves?

That was indeed a factory color option offered in 2008. Se them listed here.

I would worry more about a clean used bike with low miles and in good shape. Give a painter a grand and he will give you the look you want.

Naw to lazy for that. I mean I'll find one and it'll be a good well maintained bike or I wont buy it. Simple as that.

Why don't she just get a Softail Deluxe, black & white, hang bags on it & go, just sayin'.
