Adjustable Tour-pak

Is anyone aware of a hardware kit that would provide for an adjustable tour-pak on a 03 Ultra? Adjustable meaning that I could move the tour-pak forward or backward from its stock position.

When riding two-up with the rider backrest in place there isn’t enough room for the passenger without pushing forward on the backrest. I have found threads about drilling new holes and repositioning the tour-pak. Since moving it would change the seating position for the passenger, which may or may not be good, I thought it would be nice to have it adjustable so you could set it wherever you want. I am reluctant to drill new holes guessing at what might work. Any ideas would be appreciated.

Never heard of a kit to make the tour-pak adjustable. As you mentioned, the only solution I've run across is to move the hole locations.

Just a thought. If carrying a passenger, remove the rider backrest. That's what the passenger is for, "to provide the backrest".

I have seen posts about a tour pak relocater kit which relocates it back an inch or two. I couldn't find it in the catalog. Try a search in this forum.

Thanks. I remove the backrest now but we are planning a month long trip in September and I would like to use the backrest with her on the bike.

I will search again and if I can't find anything then I guess I just created another project for myself - to make one.

I think HD came out with a kit, I'm pretty sure I saw it in a thin updated catalog that was mailed to me but I can't find it. Might have to call a dealer to check.
