rehorner wants to know Dino or Syn?
07 Ultra Classic stalls

I have a 2007 Ultra Classic and every once in awhile it will shut down when coming to a stop. I can put in neutral and it starts right back up and takes off with no problem. This is an intermiten problem. It happened for the first time last year, 3 times. It just happened again last week, 3 stops in a row. It does'nt miss or back fire, it just cuts off. Any one have this problem? Please HELP!

Seems to be a common occurrence in '07's. The idle control unit is acting up due to some debris or dirt in the pintle hole. Happens especially when conditions are wet or real humid down here. Take off the air cleaner and look in the intake. There is a hole at 12 o'clock. Twist the throttle and you will notice it opening and closing. Clean it out with some fuel injection/linkage cleaner until the spray is clear. Should take care of the problem.

Thanks for the help. It's more than I got from my dealership. I'll let you's know how it goes.

don't forget it could also be a loose battery cable as well.

I did the IAC thing and it didn't solve my problem though it did clear up a rough idle.

It seems my negative cable was just loose enough that the inertia of slowing down broke the connection just enough for the bike to cut off.

Tightened the cable and it hasn't happened again.
