Well for the guys who know about the last thread from me about my supposely screaming eagle street glide from a dealer in wisconsin here is an update for you .We have made a full circle from me being called a f$$$in idiot by the owner to now he wants to buy my bike back.He is being investigated for not providing the appropiate documentation during a sale and false advertising as well as submitting fradulent papers to a federal bank.So for all the people out there that said this was all my fault well i guess not,for the guys that helped answer some of my questions and stood behind me andnot ridiculed me THANKS

Yes All the helpfull info helped out greatly and i am thankfull for the positive input.I actually had to contact the department of transfortation that does the dealer liscensing and they toldme with my paperwork it was misrepresented. They also asked me for my purchase contract wich i did not have of course.Long story short the dealer did not do a purchase contract, buyers guide, misrepresented the bike and refered to the bikeas a screaming eagle to a federal bank. At first he tryed to say we will buy the bike back at 10,000 and i told him no way. Then he said 17,500 and i told him pay back what i owe and he can have the extras even thou i would be out about 8,000 or we can go to court. If we go to court i can recoop twice the damages plus all lawyer and court fees.So he is stillplaying hardball but it looks like heis feeling the heat.

Can't believe you'd let him off the hook AND take an $8000 loss. Screw that! I wouldn't take anything less that what i paid for it PLUS a little extra for all the hassle. Anything less and i'd take my chances in court.

I'd get 100% back if I were you. Don't ask for any extra, just be happy if you can get that.
You DID (still do, I guess) have the bike for awhile, so you'd have to have insurance.
Glad to hear it worked out for you.

Thanks for the update. I was also wondering how it was going.
Good Luck
Sounds like you are getting closer to resolving it.

Glad to hear things seem to be working out for you. Not sure I would press my luck here by asking for damages and taking him to court. Worst case scenario there is you having to keep the bike, and paying his legal expenses.
If you can get back what you paid for the bike, then pick off any extras you have on there and put them on your next bike. That's what I would do I think.

well i agree but in wisconsin due to not giving the documents, tax evasion, and submitting fraudelent paperwork to hte bank this one should be in the bank.He has a jury trial coming up on nov 2 because of a chopper they built fell apart on this guy.Plus he has another court date on dec 10 being sued for false advertising again

No, worst case scenario is getting nothing or next to nothing due to the fact that there might be 2 other guys standing in the money line ahead of you if they have obtained judgements against him before you, then there is the bankruptcy option for him. I may be tempted to get as much as you can as soon as you can before he hides it all. Oh and I forgot to bring this up, do you have the title for the bike cuz if you don't he may have never paid for it in the first place.

First of all i have the title for the bike .Second of all i talked to the department that grants the dealer his liscense and insured me that bankruptcy is not an option for him or any dealer in wisconsin just because of these situations.See in wisconsin they are bonded so gettin him to file banckruptcy is not an option for him.See they believe that is just an easy way to get away with screwing people over
