Wind deflectors?

Just got back from a beautuful/sunny/blue sky ride here in CO. and was pretty comfortable in the 50 degree temps. My legs could have used a little protection from the wind though. Wondering if anyone has the small silver bolt on wind delfector and if they work? And how they look? I am trying to keep a bunch of "stuff" from cluttering the lines and profile of my bike but wouldnt mind having something and easy to remove to shield my legs from the wind.
Thanks in advance
Paul

They make soft lowers that go on the engine guard. I have a set a friend gave me when he sold his bike and they work well in under 50 degree temp days.

The soft lowers are great . I use them for cold and wet conditions , but still get wind on the old arthritic knees . The fork leg mounted deflectors also help.

If they are the same as what is used on the Road King, I have a set for sale.

I like my wind deflectors on my RKC. Really cuts the flutter with my helmet behind the windscreen. The flutter I was having was the air coming up below the screen and then over the gas tank. A friend calls it jiggle eyes effect. Drives me crazy when it does that. Also, I agree on the soft lowers in cool weather. Really help w/rain too. Pac-a-derms as I like the pouch for stuff.

I had a set on my metric and the difference was night and day - unbelievable how much difference something so small can make.

I used them on a previous bike. Easy take off. Used them in Spring and fall only. Makes a huge improvement on cold days.
