I recently picked up a set of 2009 CVO headers from an Ultra Classic for a build I am doing on my Ultra. My question is, Do these headers contain a Catalytic converter? I have been told yes and no. I know that my CVO touring mufflers do have Cat's.

2009 Not unless it's a Cal Bike, 2010's all have Cats in the head pipes..

I thought all 09 CA and SE bikes had cats

All CVO have come with a cat since 2006. They have been in the mufflers up until the 2009 MY when they started putting them in the head pipe. The cat resides in the area where the 2 pipes come into a collector before they split back into 2 once again. All 2010 Touring come with the cat now.
