2008-2009 Touring Model heat management system

For 2008-2009 Touring models with the heat management system where the rear cylinder stops firing at idle when the temperature is too hot, when outside temperatures are mid 80s to low 90s, how long are you stopped before the rear cylinder stops firing? I think the system is called EITMS. Thanks.

the other day when it was in the high 90's, it seemed like seconds. I wasn't really thinking about it, but it didn't take long.

Agreed, only seconds if it is warm to hot outside and I'm riding from one red light to the next.

Sounds like mine is normal. It takes less than 10 seconds for it to start the EITMS mode when hot outside. Thanks.
