Smile Silver Face Gauges

Anybody make an adapter plug to use newer silver face gauges(06-09)(Street Glide) on an 01 FLHTC-I ? The speedo and tach have different plugs. The air, oil fuel, and volt plugs in the same.

I gotta be honest, the silver-faced gauges suck. When the sun is shining, you can't see the numbers. I'm changing my 2009 Bob's over to black via the speedo/tach combo gauge soon.

You wont be able to convert the speedo over as it uses completely different electronics.. the other gauges should not be an issue..
I cannot say about the tach ... it should use the same basic wiring and a different plug but then I am not sure ..

Agreed... it's not just a "plug" issue, but one of system compatibility.

The tach probably won't work either... it's like the speedo now in that it has a computer inside it and wants to "talk" to the other computers on the bike (ecm, speedo, etc.).

the in dash (fairing)gauges should be the same even if in different places in the dash...

just look at a schematic drawing to make sure of the wiring....
