Tire mileage on 09 Ultra
I know most of you don't have the mileage to tell yet. But I’m very happy to report that the tire mileage on this new bike is awesome. Believe it or not I have 13,451 miles on this bike now, on the stock tires (thanks to a trip from Ohio to California and back). The two compound rubbers really hold up well. And by the way I pulled a trailer for 8744 miles on that trip.

That is good to hear. I hope that is the norm, not the exception.

What air pressure do you run, and at what speed do you normally drive.
Thanks Jonnierock

I had to change my rear tire out on my '09 Ultra@ 11k due to a hole and it was looking like it was good for another 3-5k easily. This compares to 7-7.5k with the 2007 Ultra.
I run 40psi rear and 36psi up front ('07 & '09) & I'm very pleased with the new tire mileage. I run 65ish on 2-lanes and stay with the traffic on the superslabs. There's always something in the left bag and probably 5-6k of that 11k was 2-up touring loaded.

That's a sweet looking trailer. Looks like you've done some serious traveling with that setup.

Stockers
I got over 15k on the stock D402 on my '06 Road Glide, replaced it with one just like it,got 15k out of it too. Wish they made the new tires in my size, could prolly get 20k out of that tread compound!
