Ultra Classic strip down

I am looking at getting my 1st Harley. It is a 1990 Ultra Classic that I am looking at trading for an old Bronco and was wondering how hard it would be to reove all the bags and front faring from the bike and if they are removed how will it look.

Thanks,
Chris .

Truthfully, if you want a stripped down bike, buy a stripped down bike. It would be difficult at best to convert an old Ultra like that and I don't think they are particularly attractive when stripped down. That being said, you can fairly easily remove the tour pack, put on a low profile windshield and it looks a lot sportier (a la Street Glide). I think you will find that if you ride it a while, you will probably like it just the way it is.

Good luck

Tim

Tim thanks for the info. I do like the look of the Street Guide. The only reason I am looking at this bike is because the guy wants to trade for my Bronco. I have too many toys and my wife told me I needed to sale one to finance my bike purchase. I really had no argument on that, most of them sit for months at a time.

Thanks again.
Chris

I like it. Looks great. That is what I going after. Yea my wife thinks 4 vehicles and two boats is too much for one guy. I sold my bass boat and selling my Bronco and Mark VIII. So I will be left with a 69 VW Type 3, my truck and my bike. I guess I can see her point if I squint real hard.
