Stripped Down Ultra Classic pics

There are alot people on this site and many other sites that say to strip the Ultra Classic to look like the Street Glide if trying to decide between the two bikes. Does anyone have any pics of this mod done to the UC? How much to add removable tour pack hardware to Ultra Classic. Thanks

I have a stripped down 2005 electra glide classic that looks like a street glide and for those road trips I add my removable tour pak, change to a road king classic seat and taller wind shield hope this helps. You can click on my profile pic for a better view.

Ditto. I have a Classic stripped down but added the lowers and other stuff to make it like a street glide on steroids.

I have a cleaned up '05 Ultra Classic............not quite a street glide since I left the lower fairings on and the tourpak.

My next thing is to remove the stock horn and hide the horn, that will clean up the left side of the motor.

Man...TXCHP that is exactly the look I am going for, except I like chrome and apes on mine!! I am going to get the kit to make my Tour Pak removable, was that easy to instal? What did you do with your Antenna for your FM/AM/Weather stereo? And I don't see any hardware that your Tour Pak would attach to? Can you snap a pic from above it so I can see what it looks like off? Thanks for your help!!

To DO: Buy removable tour pak kit, lower 3 inches, 103 CI kit, Big Air intake, fairing mount mirrors...I don't think it will ever end or ever be complete.

Oh Yeah, I also have the light kit for the rear that makes me more visible when I hit the brakes...does anyone have that with the tour pak off? I'd like to see what that looks like and see if I need to slap that up on ebay!

My stripped down 06 glide classic.. I dont think im done yet . Added the chrome 9 spokes 2 weeks ago and polished the front rotors this week.. I may remove the rubber bumper on the front and do something in the rear also.. I did remove the wrap around bag guards bu that was done just to make it easier to clean ! I did screw up when i bought the passenger removable back rest cause i got the pillow look pad and i really wanted the comfort stitch to match.. wish i could trade someone...

Sorry to hear that n8dc, I was laid off for 3 1/2 months over this winter and just got a new position today. I don't envy your position but I do understand how tight it can get. Hang in there.

Hey fourstar

Thanks man. Right now I just topped 9600.00 in it. I just got one of the Klockwerks windsheild. That set me back another 150.00
