Quick question on leak prevention at oil change

Did I see somewhere on here that some of you guys put liquid teflon on the threads of your drain plugs? I am about to change all three fluids and was wondering if I should so something like that? I did a search on here under "drain plug" and "leak" but couldn't find it. Thanks for any input.

I don't on mine...I just make sure the surfaces are clean, the "o" ring is lightly oiled (and in good condition if I'm not replacing it), and don't over-tighten the plugs as that may cause them to twist, break, and leak.

I replace my O ring every other time I remove it.

i use o ring lube and conditioner at work -it keeps o ring from getting brittle -helps prevent pinching at install -shoot a little brake cleaner around hole to clean- let dry -i tube of lube lasts years and napa might have it -i dont use a new one every time -just look at it close -
