Hey guys, need some help with measurements

I need some help with some dimensions......... I am picking up an 04 Ultra classic on my way to Daytona this year. I really need to know how long the bike is from front to back, total length. I will probably also need to know how wide the bike is across the highway bars and how far back the bars are from the front edge of the tire. I am putting my dad and I's softails in the front of my trailer in a set of Condor chocks and I picked up a 3rd chock today and need to know where to mount it in the trailer so the back door will close without hitting the tour-pak trunk. I have a 16' trailer so space is at a premium! Thanks a bunch, Brian

I have a 94 ultra, pretty much stock. The measurement from the front fender to the back of the tour pak is really close to 98". Looks to me if you have two bikes forward the third chock should go in the middle of the trailer inbetween the two rear tires. But then, you still have to get your tie-downs for the third bike going forward somewhat to hold it in place. Have fun!

Thanks

That is about what I was thinking for length. My softail is about the same length. How wide is it across the highway bars?? My dads bike has saddlebags so I need to make sure it will fit between the bikes. Your description is exactly how I am going to put it, in the back between the softails. The tie-downs are already in the floor, just no chock.

Sorry, I forgot about the bars.
The engine guard is approx. 31.5". Unless you want the weight forward as far as you can get it, you really don't have to go all the way to the guard. but I guess that depends on how far forward the the other two bikes are. The guard is approx 23" back from the front of the tire/fender. Hope this helps! Alan

Thanks again..........

That is great, should be everything I need to get the set-up right the first time. I am wanting to have everything to where I can just run it in, tie-down and roll. I am probably going to put the ultra front axle even with the softail rear axles. That should get the weight up on the axles of the trailer and leave plenty of room around crash bars and tour pac. Thanks a bunch, Brian
