what do you do to a SERG?

Hi all, I decided to bite the bullet and order a CVO SERG in orange. I am as excited as a kid looking at the wrapped gifts on xmas eve. Anyway, my question is what do you do or dont do to a CVO? I ask because some say to keep it as is to retain value. Some items that I would consider is, pipes (of course) but what about a detachable Tour Pak etc. Thanks all and ride safe.

CVO's depreciate as quickly as any model. Just ride it and enjoy.

Change what you want to make it more comfortable, more powerful, more storage, etc. It is your bike. Make it what you want. You didn't buy it to sell it, did you?? If that is a concern, save all the takeoffs so you can put them back on should you decide to sell it.

You may want to visit http://www.cvoharley.com
A great CVO focused forum.
The nice thing about CVO bikes is that there isn't much to add. SERT/pipes or slip-ons/SE Air Cleaner for the motor. Tour Pak (chopped or king) and any bling you feel missing. (There's always something.)
Harley just started offering the Garmin Zumo GPS, worth a look. The best motorcycle GPS available.

Tear the motor down and send the heads to Baisley Hi-Performance. New performance cam, SERT, pipes and a tuning by Doc and you'll be in business.
