103 doesn't warm-up
Although it gets plenty hot in the summer, i notice my tri-glide 103 engine doesn't warm-up in the 50 degree temperatures around here, in Laughlin, this time of year. Dash Temp Guage never hit 110 even after a 200 mile rd trip to Vegas. Oil cooler showed 104 using a hand-held laser temp guage. Anyone else notice this?.
Seems to me my previous bike, '08 ultra, warmed up even in the winter.

Turns out the temp guage sender connector is bad. Mother road H-d
put it on order, a new sender that is.

New oil temp guage sender fixed it. Ran up to about 180 degrees on ride from kingman back to Laughlin in 40 degree weather.

Many riders I talk to do not like carrying a passenger, especially if the rider is short. While they will ride two-up, it's not their first choice. For me, having a trike is a safety issue. My wife and I love it.

So to get to the Tour Pak lights, I unscrew the nuts holding the map pack on and lift out the liner? I'm replacing the stock tourpak stop lights with some of the Kuryakin "pulsing"m bulbs

I bought one...traded in my Sporty. My first two-wheeler was a 72 BSA Lightning, then a water-cooled Honda, then I got off them for a few years, got a 96 Sportster, 98 Classic, then back to a 2006 Sportster 883/1200. I'm loving this Tri-Glide. Thought about "triking" the Sportster, but then I got to ride and test drive a Tri-Glide and that sold me. NO regrets and I spend a lot of time on it now....

Personally I love my 2011 Triglide. I have left leg problems and was forced to make a decision never to ride 2 wheels again or ride on 3. It took me around 150 miles to get used to the different steering and breaking geometries. Rode to Raliegh/Durham from NH year before last it was a great ride albeit hot. Replaced the exhaust with a fullsac setup and temps are more reasonable now. Ya 30+thousand is a lot of money but for a new trike the price is VERY competitive and you don't have the hassle of dealing with 2 different vendors.
Just my 2 cents.
