Best Highway Pegs?
I'm considering highway pegs for my 08 FLHTC. I'm 6'6" and would like to stretch out a bit. There are so many choices out there that I thought I would get some opinions from others who have them.
I'm thinking the adjustable models would work best. Opinions on this would be appreciated.
Is it worth getting the ones with the heel rests?
Who makes the best pair for the money?
Thanks in advance!

I went with the El Cheapos from the dealer. They hold your feet up, but sometimes do wish there was a heel support.

Kurry cruiseboards have
heel support and a ledge to hook your heel on. Some think they are too big and ugly. My feet love them and don't care what they look like.

I think they look cool myself. Have been thinking of getting some myself.
Hows that Zumo working out for you?

Haven't mounted the Zumo on the bike yet. Waiting for a bunch of parts to come in so I can do a bar swap at the same time. Last part to get is a new top clamp for the bars. The stock two piece clamps are a POS as most people know.
I do have a surprise for you. When I get the Zumo mounted, I'll post some pictures.

I went with the Harley 360 degree adjustable mounts with the Harley medium sized pegs.
I have them mounted so I can rest my heel on the driver floorboard or put my whole foot on them. Works great for me.

I have the same set-up on my Heritage and my Ultra - very comfortable.

Sorry to hijack this thread.
But what top clamp? I have not been able to find one.
Thanks
And again sorry folks.

Have you used it in the car? It's not right to leave that thing in the box!

I'm pretty much looking for the same thing...
I have some pegs now but they just sick out...they are a little too close to me. If I put the soles of my boots on them, I'm just as cramped as if my feet were on the floorboards. I need something that is offset to the front so I can stick my legs out with my feet on the pegs rather than my calves (which is what would be resting on the pegs with my current pegs.)

The type of pegs and the opinions of which are the best are as varied there are owners. It all depends on your style and look you want for the bike, budget, riding style, body build, etc. I have the Kuryakan tour techs same as the Harley 360's w/ HD, both provide a lot of adjustment to cover your style. I have HD Stealth pegs. I've had Kuryakan Winged mini boards in the past and loved 'em too, but I like to hang my heal over the top of the pegs. Good luck on your search.
Bounty Hunter, those cruise boards do look pretty comfortable.
